How to create a Dropdown menu

You can create a Dropdown menu via the Templates area. Once you have created your Dropdown menu, you will be able to begin configuring it.

To configure a Dropdown menu:

  1. Select the Dropdown card and select Configure.
  2. Select Appearance and scroll down and select Configure Dropdown items underneath the Dropdown Menu Options header.

  3. Within the Configure Dropdown items menu, you can configure the Dropdown style and Dropdown items.
    1. Dropdown style - Select from Default, Images or Icons.
    2. Icon size - Select the shape and size of the selected Dropdown style.
    3. Item Label - Toggle Item Label on or off. e.g. Active, Complete, Cancelled.
    4. Item Description - Toggle Item description on or off. e.g. This is in progress.
    5. Allow Multiple Selection - Toggle and set a maximum number of applicable items.
  4. Next you will configure your Dropdown items. In the example above, we have created four items which surmise the status of a project. 
  5. Select + Add Option.
    1. If you have Item Label toggled on, input a label name.
    2. If you have Item Description toggled on, input a description for the label.
    3. If you have selected Images or Icons, upload an image, or choose an icon by selecting the placeholder to the left of the Item Label. 
    4. Repeat these steps for all the Dropdown items you want to make available for selection.
