How to communicate with my team

Effective team collaboration is key to success in any improvement work. 

You must have Comment permissions assigned to be able to add a comment.

You can now comment on any element of your work and instigate discussion with your colleagues. In addition to that, and completely new to Simana are @ mentions.  Similar to many social and collaboration platforms, you can now mention specific colleagues in your comments to alert them to your comment or even prompt a response.

Perhaps you want team input on a Driver Diagram you’ve just made, maybe you need advice on your latest SPC chart, or you just want to check in with the team – comments will  transform the way you collaborate with colleagues on Simana and help to further engage everyone in the improvement process.

To add a comment to a board or card:

  • Click the ‘Comments’ option at the top of the page, this will open the comment section.

  • Add your comment into the text box.

  • To tag another team member, simply add '@' and their username and they will be notified of your comment.
