How to set the baseline on a chart
This guide shows you how to set the baseline phase on your chart
- To set the baseline on your chart, you need to open the data peak.
- Once you already have some data in your chart, scroll across to the phases column.
- Click the dropdown on the first data point and select the relevant phase. In this case, we're going to select baseline. That's put the first data point into the baseline phase.
- You can then work down the data sheet setting each relevant data point as baseline.
- Or you can grab the blue square in the corner of the cell and drag down the column to put multiple points into the baseline in one go.
- To instigate a process change immediately after the baseline phase, click the checkbox in the Process Changed column.
- Alternatively, to fix the control limits after the baseline phase, click the checkbox in the Fix Control Limits column.
