Tasks

Create tasks, assign them to team members, set deadlines, add detailed descriptions, and even break them into sub-tasks. Whether managing key deliverables or tracking day-to-day progress, Tasks ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Tasks can be created at Space or Card level.

To create a Task:

    Navigate to the Space or Card you want to create the Task for.
  1. Select Tasks from the options in the top right to open up the Tasks panel
  2. Enter a Task title in the Add a task input box and select the + icon to create the Task.
  3. Select your new Task to open up the Task information:
    1. Due date - If your Task has a deadline, you can select a Due date. This will add a countdown to the Task by days or hours and will turn red if the due date lapses.
    2. Assigned to - You can assign the Task to an individual or multiple team members. Assigned tasks will appear in the team member's Tasks area and will be notified the Task has been assigned to them.
    3. Description - Include information about the task here. You are able to use Rich text formatting in the Description to add more life to the Task. 
    4. Sub-tasks - Subtasks can help you break down complex tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces. This can help you ensure that every detail is accounted for without losing sight of the big picture. You may also want to divide the Task responsibilities between multiple team members, which could also have their own unique due dates.

To complete a Task:

    1. Use the check box next the Task title within the Tasks panel.
    2. Use the check box in the Task information.

To delete a Task:

  1. Select the Task from the Tasks panel to open up the Task information.
  2. Select ...More.
  3. Select Delete task.
